The On Top of the World Archery Club was founded in 2018 to manage the new archery range amenity
at Veterans Park, which officially opened in May 2020. Whether completely new to archery or looking to
improve or hone your skills for competition, our club welcomes everyone with a friendly, relaxed
atmosphere focused on fun, learning, and community.
Our covered range layout is based on the USA Archery outdoor target safety design. It features 16
movable targets with shooting distances from 10 to 80 yards. We use 48” x 48” x 18” Bulldog targets
designed for easy arrow retrieval and our target faces are rotated weekly by our Club maintenance team
to equalize the usage of the targets themselves and extend their useful life.
In addition, our on-site maintenance shop is well-stocked with a wide range of archery equipment for
member’s use and is outfitted with all the tools necessary to keep both club and personal equipment in
peak condition.
Along with the traditional archery disciplines, we have members who teach and practice Kyudo, the
ancient Japanese martial art of archery. Kyudo focuses on cultivating both mind and spirit. Through its
slow, intentional movements, Kyudo helps practitioners develop inner calm and strong mental focus.
Club activities include:

- opportunities for those interested in competitive shooting.
Together, these qualities make the On Top of the World Archery Club a welcoming, inclusive place
where residents of all skill levels can connect, learn, and grow. With a range designed for every archer
and an environment that honors both modern practice and ancient disciplines, the club offers a rich,
supportive, and rewarding archery experience.
