The On Top of the World (OTOW) Archery Club was initially formed back in 2018 to prepare for our role in managing the anticipated Archery Range amenity under development as part of the new Veterans Park, with a target date of Veterans Day, November 11th, 2019. Due to the onset of Covid-19, the opening of the Archery Range was delayed six months and finally opened officially on May 26th, 2020.
Our goal is to provide the residents of On Top of the World an opportunity to participate in Club and archery activities, foster social interaction through Club events, and allow Club members to improve their skills and knowledge of target archery in a fun, relaxed and enjoyable environment. For those members who have the skills and desire to shoot competitively, we provide those opportunities as well.
The Archery Range is based on the USA Archery Outdoor Target range design. There are 16 total targets with distances from 10 yards to 80. The Range utilizes 48" x 48" x 18" Bulldog targets with extremely easy two-finger arrow pull. Target faces are rotated weekly by our Club maintenance team to equalize the usage of the targets themselves and extend their useful life.
