OTOW Archery Club membership means becoming part of an organized club with the goal of providing residents of On Top of the World Communities, Ocala, Florida an opportunity to participate in Club activities, foster social interaction, enjoy good-fellowship, and allow Club members a way to improve their skills and knowledge of target archery.
If you are interested in participating, you will have the opportunity to properly learn the sport of target archery. You can enjoy training in the disciplines of archery, both on the range and in a classroom environment. If you are an experienced archer, you will have an opportunity to significantly enhance your enjoyment of the sport of target archery.
The OTOW Archery Range, located at 9750 SW 98th Street in On Top of the World’s Veterans Park is a well-organized range with safety as its number one rule. As a Club member, you will enjoy more shooting opportunities and you may bring family members or close friends to the range to share in the fun and enjoyment of target archery. Members may also participate in organized archery leagues, events and tournaments as well as Club social activities.
Club equipment is available for members to use, if they don’t have any personal archery equipment. As your skills improve, you may want to purchase personal equipment. If so, you will receive knowledgeable guidance from USA Archery certified instructors to ensure the equipment you purchase on your own is right for you. As a member, you will have access to the Club’s Pro Shop where experienced staff will help fine tune your equipment for you.
You can participate in Club sponsored social activities and join in the fun with other Club members. If you desire to get even more involved in Club activities, you can volunteer to serve in one of the elected Officer or Director positions on the Club’s governing Board. At Club meetings, members will also have an opportunity to participate in voting on key matters that concern Club administration and future direction. All members are covered under the Club’s liability and accident insurance program.
It’s easy to become a member of the OTOW Archery Club. Membership is open to all residents of On Top of the World Communities, Ocala, Florida. A valid resident I.D. or a valid resident I.D stating “Gateway of Services” is a requirement. Next, complete the application form, sign the waiver/release and hold harmless forms, attend a safety orientation and pay the annual dues. That’s all there is to it. Beginner, expert, or anywhere in between, you are welcome to join our Club.
