Becoming a member of the OTOW Archery Club means joining a supportive community of archers right here in the On Top of the World Community. Are you a beginner interested in learning the art of target archery? Would you like to explore more about the graceful tradition of Kyudo (Japanese longbow)? Or are you an experienced archer looking to sharpen your skills for competition? No matter where you are starting from on your archery journey, you’ll find your place here.
Our club brings residents together to learn, practice, improve skills, and enjoy the sport of target archery while fostering lasting friendships and a shared sense of adventure. We offer instruction and training both on the range and in the classroom, helping every member grow in confidence, skill, and passion for the sport.
If you’re new to archery, don’t worry—club equipment is available for members who don’t yet have their own gear. As your skills grow and your interest deepens, you may want to purchase personal equipment, and our USA Archery–certified instructors will guide you every step of the way to ensure you select the right bow and accessories for your needs. You’ll also have access to the Club’s equipment shop, where experienced members can help fine-tune your equipment (and teach you how to maintain it) for your best performance on the range.
As an Archery Club member, you’ll enjoy time on the OTOW Archery Range, located at 9750 SW 98th Street in On Top of the World’s Veterans Park. The range is available to members from dawn to dusk daily. Upon joining, you’ll become part of a great group of archers and have the opportunity of engaging in club-sponsored social events, connecting with fellow archers, and sharing the fun of friendly competition.
For those who want to play a bigger role, there are opportunities to volunteer as an Officer or Director on the Club’s governing Board and help shape the future of OTOW Archery Club. Members also take part in important votes about club direction and activities, ensuring every voice is heard. Plus, all members are protected by the Club’s liability and accident insurance program.
Ready to join us? Becoming a member is easy! Membership is open to all residents of On Top of the World Communities in Ocala, Florida. Simply present a valid resident I.D. or “Gateway of Services pass,” complete the application form, sign the waiver/release and hold harmless forms, attend a short safety orientation, and pay your annual dues. That’s it—you’re ready to step onto the range and start enjoying the rewarding world of archery with us!
