We’re excited to introduce the OTOW Archery Club’s Archer Achievement Program, designed to celebrate the progress and accomplishments of our members as they develop their archery skills. Like any sport that relies on precision and technique, improvement in archery is best measured through consistent and accurate scoring.
To start, the program will focus on Barebow Recurve and Olympic Recurve shooting at 10, 15, and 20 yards. Each achievement shoot will consist of 10 ends of 3 arrows, using a 40 cm multicolor Vegas target.

Step 1 - Registration
We will be using the Vegas (40cm) multi-color 10-ring target for these shoots.
The shoot will consist of 3 arrows, 10 ends for a total of 30 arrows.
Step 2 - Getting Set Up
After all archers have registered, you will be given your scoresheet with target assignments.
The Monitor will let you know when to hang your target.
Step 3 - Scoring
Scoring will be X 10,9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1 Record a miss as an "M".
Record the values from high to low for the three arrows.
Total the arrows for that end. After the 2nd and subsequent ends total the cumulative score.
Step 4 - At Completion of the Shoot
At the end of the shoot, scorecards are to be signed by both archers and returned to the monitor.
Remove your target face and turn it in at the Monitor position.
Step 5 - Afterward
Celebrate your ranking level – you’ve aimed high and achieved!
