Home Contact me Kyudo

Kyudo, meaning "the way of the bow," is the traditional Japanese martial art of archery, emphasizing the spiritual and mental development of the archer over simply hitting the target. Practitioners engage in slow, deliberate movements to achieve mental focus and inner harmony, or mushin (a mind free of distracting thoughts).

Interested in learning more about the Japanese Art of Kyudo? Golden Years Kyudo club meets at the range Wednesdays from 2-4PM and at Arbors Dance studio 3 the third Wednesday of each month. Learn from two advanced Kyudo practitioners who will work with your specific Golden Years needs and advance you from curious to focused by having fun along the way.
